High Temp fluid loss additive

Product ID : CG610
Product Attributes :

CG610 High Temp fluid loss additive is a synthetic polymer fluid loss additive, which could effectively reduce water loss during oil gas cementing process.

Applicable for medium and high temperature wells (below 204.4 (400, BHCT)).

It can be used in lightweight, normal density or high density cement slurry systems.

Mixing water: from fresh water to salt-saturated water.

Compatible well with other additives.

Product Description

SUMMARY

CG610 fluid loss additive is a synthetic polymer which is capable of effectively reducing water loss filtering from the slurry to porous formation during cementing process.

Applicable for medium and high temperature wells.

Slurry Density Flexibility: Effectively controls fluid loss in lightweight, normal, and high-density systems.

Unmatched Salt Tolerance: Stable performance from fresh water to fully saturated brine (NaCl)

Extreme Temperature Range: Performs reliably in BHCT up to 204.4℃ (400℉), suitable for deep and ultra-deep wells.

Compatible well with other additives.

Versatile Forms: Options include standard liquid, anti-freezing liquid (L-A) for cold climates, and concentrated powder (S) for easy logistics.

Recommended dosage is 2.0-6.0(BWOC) for liquid products, and 0.6-2.5% (BWOC) for powder product.

TYPICAL APPLICATION

CG610 is engineered for challenging well bore environments where conventional additives fail. Its robust molecular structure ensures stable performance in the following conditions:

HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) Wells: With a thermal stability of up to 204.4℃ (400℉), CG610 is the ideal choice for deep and ultra-deep gas and oil wells, maintaining slurry integrity under extreme bottom-hole circulating temperatures (BHCT).

High-Salinity & Salt-Saturated Formations: Perfectly suited for drilling through salt domes or using salt-saturated mixing water. It maintains excellent filtration control even when the salinity reaches saturation, preventing slurry contamination and formation damage.

Complex Density Slurry Systems: Whether you are using lightweight microsphere slurries to prevent circulation loss or high-density weighting agents for pressure control, CG610 provides consistent fluid loss properties without compromising slurry rheology.

Offshore & Arctic Operations: The CG610L-A (Anti-freezing) variant is specifically designed for cold climate logistics and offshore platforms, ensuring the additive remains pumpable and effective in sub-zero temperatures.

Gas Migration Control: By effectively reducing water loss to porous formations, CG610 helps in building a dense filter cake, which is critical for preventing gas channeling during the transition time of the cement slurry.
